Pipeline Corrosion Inhibitors

Interior surfaces of petroleum product pipelines are subject to general surface corrosion caused by traces of moisture condensed from products. This can be prevented with TDC pipeline corrosion inhibitors which offer superior corrosion protection for all fuels

 

Fuel Antioxidants

For Gum Inhibition.

These are primarily used for gum inhibition properties and have additional abilities to "sweeten" gasoline stocks.

 

Diesel Stabilizers

To Retard Degradation and Coloration of Diesel Fuel.

Incorporation of cracked streams in the diesel fuel tend to reduce fuel stability causing eventual problems such as increased sedimentation, engine deposits, filter chocking etc. Diesel stabilizers work by retarding the natural degradation and coloration of diesel fuel during extended storage.

 

Middle Distillate Flow Improver

To Improve Low Temperature Flow Characteristics.

Middle distillate fuels contain waxes that tend to precipitate at lower temperatures. This can cause blockage of filters and lead to failures of engines or heating systems. These products improve the low temperature flow characteristics of the fuels or the pour point and pumpability specifications. MDFI‘s are tailored to perform effectively in a wide variety of fuels.

 

Cold Flow Plugging Point Improvers for Diesel

To Help Meet CFPP Specifications.

CFPP improvers allow fuels with a high concentration of wax to meet CFPP specifications.

 

Dehazer

Reduces Haze formation, Resolve any emulsion.

Dehazers are surfactants. They are added to diesel, gasoline and ATF to remove water that has contaminated the fuel through different routes of refinery processing viz. - caustic carry over, storage tank water bottom carryover etc . Effective Dehazers function through two mechanisms - flocculation and coalescence.

 

Cetane Improver

To Attain Cetane Number of Distillate Fuel.

Since diesel fuel combustion is a auto ignition process, the quality and characteristics of fuel can have a dramatic impact on the efficiency of engine operation. The most common compound used to improve the Cetane number of distillate fuel is 2-ethyl hexyl nitrate. This can be added during refining operation or in diesel detergent packages.

 

Conductivity Improver

To Improve Low Temperature Conductivity of Low Sulphur Ground Fuels.

Processing techniques like hydro treatment of diesel fuels leads to low conductivity. Low conductivity fuels may spark discharge. Switch loading also increases risk of ignition. These problems increase during cold weather. Additions of conductivity improvers eliminate this problem.

 

H2S scavenger

To remove H2S from fuel.

H2S slippage in final refinery product is a major concern. It forces the refiner to downgrade the fuel or reprocess. H2S/mercaptan can cause failure of fuel on Cu strip corrosion test. H2S scavenger helps in removing H2S from final product in refinery and thereby achieve saleable fuel by meeting Cu strip test requirements.
